This pavilion has 5 picnic tables that will seat 40 people with a max capacity of 50. ADA accessible. Gas grills are allowed on the cement areas only. No charcoal grills allowed. There are 2 electrical outlets for use. Tennis courts, sand volleyball, bocceball, horseshoes, basketball and shuffleboard are all in close proximity. Please bring your own equipment. There is a playground, carousel, walking trails and paddleboats within walking distance.
Pavilion reservations do not guarantee use of the surrounding sports fields or park amenities.
Reservations before May 1 and after September 30 will not have access to the permanent restroom facilities. Port-a-lets will be available.
Amplified sound is only permitted if you reserve both the East and West Pavilions and you must apply for a sound permit.
A special alcohol permit application must be filled out in person at one of our recreation facilities for this pavilion. This involves an additional $100 deposit and $25 application fee. No glass containers please.

Community Parks pavilion rental is a two pavilion package! This large 45.1 acre park is located just south of Thornton Parkway between Colorado Boulevard and Washington Street.
The smaller 26ftx26ft lighted south pavilion is equipped with four picnic tables, a trash receptacle and one electrical outlet. The larger 33ftx33ft lighted north pavilion is equipped with six picnic tables, three trash receptacles and two electrical outlets. Amenities for Community Park include three ball fields, a playground, skate park, a full basketball court, tennis court, in-line hockey rink, a seasonal swimming pool (additional entry fee) and a bike trail which goes through the park and surrounding areas. There is plenty of parking in Community Park within its large lot that includes 375 parking spaces. Due to construction of the new Thornton Community Center parking could be limited.

This 40ftx40ft lighted pavilion is nestled inside beautiful 13.6 acre Woodglen-Brookshire Park in central Thornton. In addition to this large shade shelter with nine picnic tables, six trash receptacles and four sets of electrical outlets, visitors have easy access to a playground, two half-court basketball courts, one full court basketball court, two sand volleyball courts (must supply your net), a ball field, a large multipurpose field and two tennis courts. Along with these amenities and for our guests convenience, four port-o-let restrooms are available onsite (two by the pavilion and two by the ball field.) One port-o-let in each of these areas is handicapped accessible. A large parking lot with 137 spaces is also available. There is also a beautiful bike trail that runs through the park and connects with the City trail system.
This 40ftx40ft lighted pavilion is nestled inside beautiful 25.4 acre Cherry Park in central Thornton. In addition to this shade shelter with six picnic tables, visitors have easy access to a playground, one full basketball court, a large multipurpose field, two ball fields and a beautiful lake is located approximately 600 yards north of the pavilion.
Along with these amenities and for our guests convenience, two port-o-let rest room are available on site (one is adjacent to the ball fields), along with trash cans and an electric outlet beneath the pavilion. A medium-sized parking area with 36 spaces is also available.
Alcohol consumption is not allowed at this park.
This 30ftx30ft pavilion is located in northern Thornton in 7.3 acre Cherrywood Park, just west of Prairie Hills Elementary School. This pavilion is not a lighted pavilion and does not have any electrical outlets or barbecue grills. In addition to this shade shelter with four picnic tables, visitors have easy access to a playground, two full basketball courts, two medium-sized athletic fields and one port-o-let rest room. Parking is available along the street.
This 40ftx40ft lighted pavilion is located in 12.7 acre Yorkborough Park in southern Thornton. In addition to this large shade shelter with six picnic tables, two trash receptacles and one electrical outlet, visitors have easy access to two playgrounds, two tennis courts, a ball field, a sand volleyball court (must supply your net) and a bike trail. Along with these amenities and for our guests convenience, one port-o-let restroom is available onsite, along with street parking.
This pavilion has 12 picnic tables that will seat 70. Gas grills are allowed on the cement areas only. No charcoal grills allowed. There are 2 electrical outlets for use. There is a playground and batting cages in close proximity. ADA accessible.
